Privacy

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which guides visitors read and how they find the site. We do not offer account registration or newsletter forms.

Site analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information about page visits, interactions, devices, and traffic sources. We also count clicks on our WannaFlix links to understand whether readers use those links; a click does not tell us whether you made a purchase. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization.

See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block analytics through your browser settings or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Comments

Article comments are handled by our QiYan service at comments.chinaonlineready.com. When you submit a comment, we store your name, comment text, the article address, and any email address or website you choose to provide. Comments are reviewed before publication. Your name, approved comment, submission time, optional website and reply relationship can be shown publicly. Your email address is optional, is not published, and does not verify your identity.

Our moderators can review submissions and their optional email addresses. The comment service uses request IP information to limit excessive requests; Cloudflare also processes requests to deliver and protect this service. The comment client does not require an account or send login cookies with API requests. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a comment.

Links to other websites

Following a link to an app, official guide, or service provider takes you to a separate website with its own privacy practices.

Our WannaFlix purchase links include an affiliate identifier associated with China Online Ready. Purchases and any information you enter on WannaFlix are handled by that provider. See our affiliate disclosure.
